Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor said he has worked hard to create his own identity in the Hindi film industry instead of cashing in on his family’s stardom.
He said he is glad that he has made space for himself with his acting skill.
“Whatever I have achieved so far is all due to my hardwork. When I started my career, people used to know me by my family’s name but now I am happy I have my own identity,” he said.
“People used to say that I am Neetu and Rishi Kapoor’s son and Raj Kapoor’s grandson. Now, people know me by the name of Ranbir Kapoor and this is all due to sheer hardwork,” added the actor.
Ranbir, who is 29-years-old, started his career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saanwariya’ five years ago.
The actor will be next seen in the movie ‘Rockstar’.
