Light up your day with LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre’s Diwali ‘Make and Take’

Melbourne – Tuesday 8 October 2019: LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is celebrating Diwali with some fun, free LEGO® activities!

Diwali is known as the ‘festival of lights’ and symbolises the victory of light over darkness. The holiday is known for beautiful colours and designs, including intricate artwork known as rangoli, where patterns are created using traditional materials such as coloured rice or sand.

To honour the annual festival and get everyone involved, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne is hosting a free ‘make and take’ LEGO building activity on the balcony outside the attraction on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October. Visitors are invited to create their own beautiful mini rangoli design in LEGO and take home as a keepsake – free of charge!

On Saturday 26 October, visitors can also watch on as LEGOLAND Discovery Centre’s Master Builder, Kieran Jiwa, creates a large scale LEGO rangoli live build in the traditional way: as a design on created on the floor. The final product will be available to view on Sunday 27 October.

With a range of free activities on the balcony plus all the usual LEGO fun inside the attraction, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this Diwali with LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is home to two thrilling rides, DUPLO Farm Adventure, 11 LEGO build and play zones, Creative Workshop, a 4D cinema and more! For further information or to book tickets, visit:
