$8000 raised for Nepal quake victims

elbourne: Treasurer for Liberal party Bentleigh SEC Rampal Reddy Muthyala along with a group of Australian community and business leaders recently celebrated the 64th birthday of Hon Andrew Robb AO MP, Minister for Trade and Investment, and also used the occasion to raise $8000 to support Nepal earthquake victims
Chandra Yonzon, Nepal Honorary Consul General, and many more distinguish guests were present at the event which was held at Dosa Hut, Footscray on September 3.
Rob, who has been contributing a lot for having free trade agreement between India and Australia was felicitated on his birthday. “ The Australia-India economic relationship has grown steadily in recent years and it is worthy to note that the two-way goods and services trade totalled $20.3 billion in 2011,” said Muthyala.
Minister Rob highlighted key points of discussion with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said,”India is a country with vast opportunities in terms of market share and Australia is a country with expertise and technology. We can help each other. Australia is keen to have FTA with India by 2016. With this agreements many Australian companies are keen to setup in India and offer the service.”
