Devotees take part in Satyanarayan puja

Melbourne: More than 80 devotees participated in the Satyanarayan Puja and Katha conducted by Pt. Rajesh Tiwari and Shri Algasammy Ji from the Brahma Kumariorganisation. Pt Tiwari gave a lecture on Spiritual significance of Rakshabandhan.
Four families came forward to volunteer to take responsibility of organising the Katha on every Purnamasi from now onwards. The next one is going to be on Sunday 27 September 2015. This day also happens to be Anant Chaturdashi and Purnima, the two tithis taking place on the same day.
Puja for Ganesh Visarjan shall be performed between 4.30 and 5.30 pm, followed by Satyanarayan Katha from 5.30 to 7.00 pm. This will follow usual Sunday Arati at 7.00 pm with temple closing at 8.00 pm.
