Man who assaulted Indian-origin cabbie moons at reporters

A man accused of assaulting an Indian-origin taxi driver in Adelaide dropped his pants to moon at reporters outside a court.

Christopher Farinola, 20, from Osborne in Adelaide in South Australia State, who had allegedly assaulted Manbir Singh, 24, at Henely Beach Nov 16 last year, pulled his T-shirt over his head to hide his face and then bared his backside while leaving the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court.

In the attack, Singh suffered a fractured eye socket and partially lost sight.

Four persons were charged in connection with the case.

Co-accused Bradley Field, 20, also appeared for the first time in the court. The date for the hearing of two other men charged over the incident is yet to be fixed.

Farinola was remanded and will have to reappear in court in March.
