Biden says Iran wont get nuclear weapon on his watch

Washington DC, June 29: US President Joe Biden said on Monday that the United States won’t ever allow Iran to obtain a Nuclear Weapon while he is in power.

“Today, we will be examining the wide scope of difficulties, including Iran,” Biden said in front of his gathering with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. “What I can say to you, Iran won’t ever get a Nuclear Weapon on my watch.” Biden’s remarks come a day after the US military dispatched airstrikes against Iran-sponsored volunteer armies Kata’ib Hezbollah and Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada in the Syrian-Iraqi boundary area because of assaults against American interests in Iraq.

Prior to Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the assaults were legitimate under Article 2 of the US Constitution that gives the president power to utilize military power to secure US interests.
