According to an upcoming biography of Steve Jobs, he knew weeks ago that he was going to die soon.
Walter Isaacson’s book ‘Steve Jobs’ will hit stands in November. Isaacson last interviewed Jobs just weeks ago when he had stepped down as Apple CEO in August, a newspaper report said.
“Jobs indicated at that time that he knew he was going to die soon. The scene will appear at the end of the book,” it said.
Walter Isaacson conducted over 40 interviews with Steve Jobs over two years, besides talking to his friends and families.
The Apple co-founder’s death will only boost interest and anticipation among book readers.
The book was initially titled ‘iSteve: The Book of Jobs’ and was scheduled for a spring 2012 release. It will now be out in November and will be called ‘Steve Jobs’.
The publisher said that Jobs did not control the contents of the book, and spoke candidly, sometimes brutally so, about the people he worked with and competed against.
